Bloom Her Path
About
We are a maternal and infant therapy practice with a mission to deliver compassionate and personalized therapy to infants, while also supporting women during pregnancy and postpartum.
We aim to offer holistic and evidence based therapy through tailored care and community health initiatives, empowering women, and supporting infants throughout every phase of the perinatal journey.
Our Approach
We’re more than a therapy clinic: we’re a supportive community for women and infants. At Bloom Her Path, our holistic, family centered approach nurtures both moms and babies, helping you move, feed, and bloom with confidence through every stage of motherhood.
Here’s what makes us truly unique:
Our approach is gentle, personalized, and rooted in care for the whole family.
Root Cause Care
We look deeper than symptoms to uncover why your body or baby is struggling. Whether it’s pelvic pain, feeding challenges, or postpartum recovery, we address the full picture body, mind, and environment so healing feels lasting and aligned.
Family Centered Care
Motherhood isn’t a solo journey. We care for you and your baby as a dyad, supporting partners and family when needed. Our goal is to help the whole family thrive because when you feel supported, your baby does too.
Functional Outcomes
Our goal is that you don’t just “feel better” in therapy, but that you move, feed, rest, bond, and live better beyond the clinic walls in everyday life. Every recommendation is designed to fit your roles, routines and habits.
Compassion
We meet you exactly where you are with understanding, warmth, and no judgment. We listen carefully, acknowledge struggles, validate fears, celebrate wins. Healing can feel vulnerable, and you deserve a space where you’re seen, heard, and supported through every stage of motherhood.
Open, clear, honest communication is essential in healing. We will explain what we see, what you need to do, and why. Our therapy approach is built on collaboration, we believe you are a partner in your care and together we will build your care plan that feels practical, empowered and aligned with your goals.
Trust & Direct Communication
At Bloom Her Path, we’re a team of lifelong learners dedicated to growing alongside the families we serve. We bring both expertise and heart to every person we work with.
Our Team
Meet Christine —
Co-Owner of Bloom Her Path
I’m Christine Hernandez, an occupational therapist, certified breastfeeding specialist and pelvic health therapist. I have always known I wanted to be a mom, as far back as I can remember. When I finally became a mom, I loved every moment of it but did not realize how much I would worry about doing the right things or feeling unsettled with unanswered questions.
But as with most things in life, our research, education and practice around infants and motherhood have evolved and I realized I could use my occupational therapy skills to empower women during motherhood and infants with their main occupations of feeding, play and development. I have immersed myself in continuously learning and gathering expertise from leading therapists and medical professionals to bring the most supportive and effective care possible to families in the Coastal Bend.
I live in Portland with my partner, Frankie, our 2 boys, Miguel and Carlos and our 4 year old CavaPoo, Zoe. Frankie and I were raised here in South Texas and love raising our boys alongside our extended family.
Some of my favorite moments of motherhood were rocking and holding my boys to sleep nightly and holding them for naps.
One of my favorite desserts is a warm cookie or brownie with vanilla ice cream and a few of my favorite moments of motherhood was holding boys for naps/ rocking them to sleep and hearing them laugh, deep belly giggles.

Meet Haydee —
Co-Owner of Bloom Her Path
I am Haydee Medrano, maternal health occupational therapist. It was through my own pregnancy journey and postpartum recovery, experiencing pelvic pain and breastfeeding difficulties, I decided to change speciality paths within my profession. Becoming a mother in the Coastal Bend, I realized there was a lack of postpartum community and rehab services available to help mothers heal, connect, and learn, while also supporting the dyad feeding journey. I quickly became passionate about nurturing the mom and baby, and immersed myself in learning and mentorship.
My goal is help women, through all stages, and mothers feel empowered and connected to their bodies while fostering confidence in their journeys.
I am originally from the Rio Grande Valley, but moved to Corpus Christi 10 years ago with my finance and now husband, Tomas Medrano. We have a 4 year old daughter, Alessi, and our 2 poodle mixes, Teddy & Charlie. My favorite moments in motherhood when my daughter was an infant were contact naps/cosleeping (still supporting our little one to sleep) and “milkies”, what my daughter called breastfeeding.
My favorite sweet treat is Trü Frü dark chocolate raspberries, paired with a reality show- DWTS, SLOMW, or Selling Sunset.
